Grand Buffet Chinese in Grand Rapids

Good selection, prompt seating. Everything seems fresh but nothing outstanding. At times seems like yesterdays left overs. I can't eat there anymore because of MSG. They deny using it, but the health dept differs. I get a horrible headache after eating there, but would like to go back.

The food is okay...I've had better.

We love this place! The employees are wonderful! The only thing that would make it better is an online ordering option for the menu items for pickup.

Personally I am an Asian and I think this place is really great the food is amazing and the staff workers are really nice and kind. They have Chinese decorations hanging around the restaurant and they look really cool. They have a back room which you can reserve or large amounts of people that’s what me and my family did. You can do all you can eat on the buffet or order many things off there menu the menu contains 100+ items which many aren’t on the buffet. So you can try different flavors of what there are on the buffet. I would definitely come again when I come back and visit

Years ago this place was my favorite. Now, sadly I do not go here. The food is always under cooked or soggy from being old, it makes me sick to my stomach after I leave. My Mom also had a bug jump off her pork on a stick. Prices are also way to high for the quality of food that is here.

Good service nice people. Food was average not amazing but not awful. Seated promptly and drink order was taken and delivered very fast.

The food is very hit and miss... best bet is to go during peak hours of lunch or dinner.

They have a much better selection of good than their Chinese food competition in Grand Rapids. My family eats here at least once a week. I would like to see them swap out some of their dishes from time to time for those who eat here in a regular basis. Even with their large selection it can still get boring if you eat here a lot. Friendly staff, adequate lighting, cheerful atmosphere, and good food sets this Chinese buffet way ahead of the other one in town.

Sugar-laden food; buffet price is good.

Food is always awesome and the staff is so polite.

Food was luke warm at best, nothing was fresh and the ice cream was melted sitting in the "freezer". The ice cream scoops were dirty and sitting in a pool of nasty water. We will not return. Gross.

It was great. I love their sushi and Mongolian beef. If you're looking for some quick Chinese food, they got you covered.

Very good quality of food. Fresh and hot, and filled frequently. Table service was very good. Looked and smelled clean, and was very clean in this facility.

Food was fresh and tasty trays, and the surrounding areas were clean. They even labeled the times the food was made definitely my new favorite Chinese Buffet choice on the Iron Range

Terrible would be an understatement. Went there on a Saturday evening having driven almost 70 miles for a little time out. Food was cold, old and obviously sitting there for a long time. Shrimp smelled and everything was nasty. When we asked about them getting fresh and hot foods brought out, she wanted to know if we wanted our plates nuked to reheat the food. We said no, get some fresh hot food in the buffet tables.She proceeded to go over and stir up the old slop and left. We left with no intentions of going back and frankly, I don't think they get it or give a flying RIP. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Been working here for month or so, I'm glad i found it. Great food and service best thing they are open late. If ur passing thu I would recommend to try it

All of the food was lukewarm at best. Too bad because it’s usually edible. Not feeling so great after eating there.

I thought the food tasted pretty good here. They didn’t have a very large chicken selection, but they did have a lot of food. The sushi was also really good here. This is the first time I’ve had sushi and actually liked it. The staff seemed friendly, and was in a decent location. I would come back here.

Went for lunch and the food was cooked very well, monitored well, staff were very friendly. Good atmosphere. Recommend.

We went for the first time around 3 pm and some of the food was dry and not very fresh. Some selections were not even refilled. Terrible fried rice. We definitely will not be going back.

Came up from the cities to see family and we ended up going to Grand Buffet. This is one of the better buffets I've been to in terms of variety and quality of food served. All the main dishes were fresh and had better tasting ingredients than other buffets I've been to recently. On top of that, the service was great and the prices were fair. Definitely check this place out if you're in town. I plan on going back next time I visit!

They have a wide selection of food. Very fresh if I needed anything that was almost gone on the buffet I ask the waitress/waiter and a few minutes later there’s a fresh dish of it. Very good food. And not very expensive

The food was hot and delicious! Ice cream was real and not soft serve. I will definitely return!
